My name is Mr. 0. You don't know me, but I know you.
I'm putting together a little group called Genesis, and we could use your assistance.
We're stuck in a world we never wanted to be a part of, forced to fight in a war that isn't ours, and are at the mercy of the very machine that brought us here. So far, our only ways home come with hoping that the Porter will somehow take pity and decide to send any one of us home, or winning this war. However, none of these are ideal, as our ways home are still completely out of our control. True, the government claims they can send us home once we help them win, but they're still relying on the Porter, and they're no closer to understanding it now than they were years ago. How can we trust the government to follow through on a promise to send us home, when they have no way to guarantee it?
We shouldn't have to rely on them, and we shouldn't have to hope that the Porter will randomly decide to send any one of us home. ImPorts need to be the ones to decide whether or not we stay or go, and we need to be the ones in charge of the Porter. We should be in charge of our own fate, and not be forced to rely on the government or anyone else.
Genesis wants to make this possible, but in order for that to happen, we'll need your help.
Don't try to contact me with your answer. You won't be able to find me, and you don't need to find me. I'll get back to you soon enough to learn your answer. You won't need to worry about when and where, of course. Someone will be able to find you when the time comes.
Also, I would advise against discussing this message or its contents with anyone else. You can never really know who to trust in this place, after all.
